Miwa Door Lock
Miwa contributes to the safety and comfort of society with quality products designed to protect people's lives and property.
The year 1955 marked the end of five years of research that culminated in the development of a truly epoch-making product called the HM-Type Key-in Knob Mortise Lock. The unique mechanisms incorporated into the HM lock to provide the ultimate in crime prevention heralded a new age in lock design. This new lock quickly proved its reliability, and came into widespread use throughout Japan.
This special lock has been designed for installations in outdoor or harsh environments, such as coastal areas. The outside stainless steel escutcheon is coated with an anticorrosion clear lacquer and the reader controller has a coating of resin, providing protection to the essential electronics. As with the standard lock, the battery box is located in the inside escutcheon, ensuring a stable operation even when the lock is installed on a door exposed to extreme climate conditions.
Handle & Color Variation
The pressed stainless steel escutcheon is available as standard in 5 high-quality finishes.
